A Roma integration working group was formed on Tuesday in Kolozsvár/ Cluj, at the initiative of the General Secretariat of the Democratic Alliance of Hungarians in Romania (DAHR).
The DAHR announced that they had invited onto the working group those mayors, academic researchers, leaders of civil society organisations and experts in funding applications who work to promote the social integration of Roma whose mother tongue is Hungarian.
The working group aims to prepare local governments and civil society organisations for the most efficient possible drawdown of EU funding available from 2014 for the purpose of Roma integration.
