The rights of national minorities and the questions of child soldiers and child labour form part of the European Parliament’s Annual Report on Human Rights. This was announced last Thursday by Fidesz MEP Kinga Gál, who put forward these proposed amendments.

In the first week of November the European Parliament’s Foreign Affairs Committee voted on this year’s draft report. The annual report, which analyses the human rights situation in countries outside the EU, is expected to be adopted at the European Parliament’s plenary sitting in December.
