Publicated on: January 3, 2013

In order to promote the social inclusion of people living on the streets, the Government is making a total of HUF 917 million available within the framework of the New Széchenyi Plan.

The tender primarily aims at supporting the housing, independent living and personalised training of the homeless in order to create the basis of their employability. The project provides support for institutions to assess the needs of affected groups, to provide lifestyle counselling and housing to them and to facilitate their training and employment.

Applicants may apply for grants between HUF 8 and 140 million and shall undertake to help 10 to 150 homeless persons.
