Civil society organisations can also join in the work of the Human Rights Round Table

Publicated on: September 28, 2012

The Government's Human Rights Working Group invites applications from civil society organisations to participate in the operation of the Human Rights Round Table. Successful applicants will take part in the working group’s specialist activities, thus enhancing public consultation and contributing to the widest possible assertion of human rights.

The invitation is open until the end of October to all registered civil society organisations, interest groups and professional associations which are active in the field of human rights. The working group is particularly interested in applications from civil society organisations with proven track records in key government policy areas, such as the rights of national minorities, the Roma, children, the elderly, those living with disabilities and homeless people.
